Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your booking and use of the studio facilities operated by Veedo – The Studio (“Veedo”, “we”, “us”) at 1st Floor, Span Business Center, Karuvelil Road, Mamangalam, Kochi – 682025, Kerala, India. By confirming a booking or using the studio, you (“Client”) agree to these Terms.

1. Booking & payment

  • Bookings are confirmed once a 50% advance is received via UPI, cash, bank transfer, or card.
  • The balance is due before or at the start of the booked slot.
  • We issue GST invoices on request; please share GSTIN details before the invoice is generated.
  • Rates published on veedo.in are inclusive of studio access, in-floor backdrops, lighting kit, AC, WiFi, parking, and on-site technical support. Specialised gear not in-house may be billed separately if sourced for you.

2. Cancellation & rescheduling

  • 48+ hours before the slot: full refund of advance, or free reschedule within 30 days.
  • 24–48 hours before the slot: 50% of the advance is retained; the remainder is refunded or applied to a reschedule within 14 days.
  • Less than 24 hours: the advance is non-refundable, but we'll make a reasonable effort to reschedule within 14 days based on availability.
  • No-shows: treated as a same-day cancellation. Repeat no-shows may forfeit the right to book further slots.
  • Veedo-initiated cancellation (e.g., maintenance, force majeure): full refund or priority reschedule, your choice.

3. Studio use & conduct

  • Use the floor for the purpose declared at booking. Unannounced commercial activity (paid events, sales activations) requires prior approval.
  • No smoking on the studio floor. Designated outdoor smoking area is available.
  • Alcohol service is allowed for brand shoots and events on prior approval only.
  • No eating directly on the Lumen white floor. A designated dining area is available outside the studio floor.
  • Pets are welcome for pet photography. We ask for a quick clean-up after the session.
  • Music volume must respect the building's shared use. Late-night sessions should keep volume reasonable.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.

4. Equipment & damage

  • Veedo's equipment (lighting, mics, backdrops, furniture, props) is loaned at no additional charge for the duration of your slot.
  • You are responsible for damage to studio equipment, fixtures, or finishes caused by you, your crew, or your talent. Charges are billed at repair or replacement cost.
  • Inspect equipment at the start of your slot and flag any pre-existing issue immediately.
  • Backdrop rolls used heavily (cuts, stains) are charged at replacement cost where applicable.

5. Intellectual property

  • You retain full ownership and copyright of the photos, video, and audio captured at Veedo.
  • Veedo retains no rights to your content. You may request a brand mention or tag on social media, but it is not required.
  • Veedo may photograph the studio space itself (without your content visible) for marketing of the studio.

6. Liability

  • Veedo's liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid for the affected booking.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses (lost earnings, lost client relationships, third-party claims).
  • You are responsible for the safety of your crew, talent, and visitors on the floor. Veedo is not liable for personal injury arising from negligence by you, your team, or your guests.
  • Personal belongings are your responsibility — Veedo isn't liable for items left on the premises.

7. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, civil unrest, power or internet failures affecting the building, or public-health emergencies. In such cases we'll work in good faith to reschedule.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always at veedo.in/terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for two weeks before taking effect.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala. We strongly prefer to resolve issues directly — reach out before going further.
